After the heavy rainfall full night it was a clear morinng. But again it started pouring small droplets. We did not expect much from the day to cover. The important thing on our radar for the day was Murud Janjira Fort. Rest of the things were Kashid beach and Birla temple.

We left little late at around 9 am for Janjira fort. Had our breakfast on the way and reached at the port to catch a ferry boat for visiting Janjira Fort. But after enquiring we found that ferry boat will not run unless weather is clear and there are sufficient number of people to take to fort. It was a weekday so there was less possibility, our bad luck :(. We waited for half an hour with hope but decided to move on then.

We moved ahead to Kashid beach. It was still morning time and pleasant environment on the beach. As Birla temple visit was planned in evening so now we had big time spend and relax at beach. Also Birla temple is closed between 12-4 pm.

We left for Birla temple at around 4 pm. Temple was around 30 kms from the Kashid beach. We visited the temple and came back in around 1 hour. Photography is strictly prohibited so i don't have any snaps of Birla temple.

We did not had anything left for the day so we were back to Kashid beach to relax. After it was dark we left Kashid to have dinner near by our place of stay. The weather was cloudy again and there were signs of heavy rains. The next and the last stop of our journey was Alibag at a friend's place :). It started raining around 9.00 pm and the bombarding rain went on for whole night. We had started to get a feeling that we were near to end of our journey.
