We had to get up early as we had missed many things yesterday and so today we were hoping to cover as much as possible. The day was looking brighter and clear. We had some miss-planning today but we got to know that later at the end of day :). We had to visit Shiv-Shrusti, a place at Dervan. You can see stories of Shivaji Maharaj inscribed. It is very good place and worth visiting. There is also Bhawani temple inside. We could capture only single picture of this place as photography is not allowed inside.
The bad part of the day was we had taken a longest root by miss-judgement and when we came back we had travelled almost 200 kms for the day. It was 12 pm and we had to move on for Khed. Khed was planned because we wanted to visit a friend's home. We had to decided to go by the sea shore line again. so this time we had to cross 2 jetty's Jaigad and Dhopave.
Jaigad jetty road was familiar as we had visited it in morning. It was 3.15 pm when we reached the Jetty location. We had reached well before the time. Jetties are with 1 hour frequency so next jetty time was 4.00 pm. Some snaps around jetty.
It takes around 15 mins to cross using jetty. We started back on road at around 4.30 pm. The next early jetty we could target was at 6 pm. We had to cover around 50 kms to reach this jetty which as achievable But that did not leave us any time to cover anything in between.

We had to rush to catch the jetty and another bad luck, we missed the jetty by 2 mins :(. The road was very bumpy which we didn't see in our till date journey. That delay made us to wait 45 mins because next jetty was at 6.45. It was very dark at even 6.
It was 10 mins water journey otherwise it takes around 1 hour by road to reach other end.. :). We saw signs of rain when we got at the other end. It was time again to experience heavy showers :). We packed ourself and the lagguage, my GPS was set for navigation and we begin again.
We had to cover around 70-80 kms and reach khed at our friends house. And it was state highway till the destination which was in good condition so it was bit relief for us from bumpy experience we had last time. We had targeted to reach around 9.30 at our friends place. As we started from Dabhol jetty point, it started raining after some time and it was so heavily. Silent roads, very less traffic, and GPS in work.
Much needed Tea break after Chiplun.. :)
We were driving on the almost lonely roads and managed to reach till 9.30 pm at our friends home. This day of our Konkan journey particularly was very exciting. We had our homely dinner. That was end of day.
